Refund and Returns Policy
At Havrixi, we want every book you order to find a permanent home on your shelf. However, we understand that sometimes a cover doesn’t match the description, or a story isn’t what you expected.
Here is our transparent guide to returns, refunds, and exchanges.
1. Order Cancellation (The 12-Hour Window)
Because we utilize a fast-moving distribution network to get books to you quickly, we have a limited window for changes.
- Cancellation Timeframe: You may cancel or update your order (address/book selection) within 12 hours of placing it.
- How to Cancel: Please email us immediately at contact@havrixi.com.
- After 12 Hours: Your order has likely entered the processing queue at the warehouse and can no longer be stopped. In this case, you are welcome to return the book once it arrives.
2. The 30-Day Return Window
You have 30 calendar days from the date your package is marked “Delivered” to request a return. If 30 days have gone by since your delivery, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
3. Eligibility & Book Condition
Books are fragile items. To ensure fairness, we require returned items to be in “New” and “Resalable” condition.
- Acceptable: The book must have an unbroken spine, no dog-eared pages, no writing or highlighting inside, and no water damage. It should be returned in its original packaging if possible.
- Non-Returnable Items:
- Books that show obvious signs of reading or wear (wardrobing).
- Gift cards.
- Items marked as “Final Sale.”
4. Fees & Shipping Costs
We believe in a straightforward policy with no hidden penalties.
- Restocking Fee: We do NOT charge a restocking fee.
- Return Shipping:
- Defective/Wrong Book: We will provide a prepaid shipping label or refund your shipping cost.
- Change of Mind: If you simply changed your mind or ordered the wrong title, you are responsible for the return shipping cost.
5. How to Initiate a Return (Email First)
To ensure your return is tracked and sent to the correct facility, please do not send the book back without contacting us first.
Return Method: By Mail.
- Email Us: Send a request to contact@havrixi.com with your Order Number and the reason for the return.
- Receive Instructions: Our support team will review your request (within 1 business day) and email you the Return Authorization and the correct mailing address.
- Ship It: Pack the book securely to prevent corner damage during transit and mail it back using a trackable shipping service.
6. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected at our facility:
- Notification: We will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and whether the refund is approved based on the book’s condition.
- Processing: If approved, the refund (including applicable taxes) will be processed immediately.
- Timeline: A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 3 to 5 business days.
7. Damaged or Misprinted Books
If your book arrives with printing errors (missing pages) or transit damage (crushed corners, torn cover), please do not return it immediately.
- The Solution: Simply email a photo of the defect to contact@havrixi.com. We will arrange for a free replacement or a full refund right away.
8. Exchange Policy
We do not offer direct exchanges (e.g., swapping Title A for Title B) due to inventory logistics.
- Best Method: If you want a different book, please return the original item for a refund and place a separate order for the new title.
9. Delivery Issues
- Refused/Undeliverable Packages: If a package is refused by the customer or returned due to an incorrect address provided at checkout, we will refund the cost of the book only. Shipping fees are non-refundable in these cases.
- Lost Packages: If your tracking says “Delivered” but you have not received the book, please contact us via email. We will open an investigation with the carrier. We aim to resolve lost package claims within 5-7 business days.
